Free Entry Level 3 Maths Course in Pickering. Evening classes run at Atmosphere Centre for Young People, so you can fit study around your week. The course runs over 10 weeks part-time. Who this course is for

This course is for people who want to improve their Maths skills and gain a qualification in Maths without having to take an exam.You must not have a current Entry 3 level or higher qualification.

Entry requirements

To be eligible for funding for courses you must be over 19 years of age as at 31st August in the current academic year and not be an apprentice, further eligibility may be linked to where you live and we will check that at

How you will learn

Classes are classroom based and run in the evening at Atmosphere Centre for Young People. You'll learn through practical activities and exercises rather than a formal written exam. Assessment is through portfolio-style evidence and tasks completed during the course, so your progress is measured through the work you do in class.
