Free ESOL Skills for Life: Speaking and Listening course in Pickering. Evening classes run at Atmosphere Centre for Young People, so you can study around other commitments. Over 22 weeks, you'll develop your spoken English and listening skills for everyday life and work. You'll also build your understanding of English grammar, vocabulary, and pronunciation. To be eligible for funding for courses you must be over 19 years of age as at 31st August in the current academic year and not be an apprentice, further eligibility may be linked to where you live and we will check that at enrolment stage and may contact

How you will learn
Classes are classroom based and run in the evening at Atmosphere Centre for Young People. You'll learn through speaking and listening activities with your teacher and other learners. Assessment is practical: you'll be assessed on your ability to speak and listen in English, through tasks and activities completed during the course.
