About this course

Level 2 Business Administration Course. Work-based training at your workplace. You study while working in an administrative role, with tuition, support, and assessment delivered in your workplace, online, and by phone and email. The course covers administrative support for meetings, producing business documents, handling customer enquiries, communication, and managing filing systems and stationery. Units are selected to match your job role, so learning stays relevant to what you do day to day. You'll need four GCSEs at grades A* - G (or 9 - 1), or equivalent, to enrol. The course typically takes 14 months.

Who this course is for

This qualification is ideal if you are looking to upskill existing staff by supporting your team member to undertake their first formal business administration qualification to develop solid administration skills in the workplace.

The knowledge your employee will gain throughout the course of training will provide the knowledge needed to for both routine and increasingly more complex administrative support to your organisation.

Depending on the individual’s job role and the units selected, skills can be developed in areas such as administrative support for meetings, production of business documents, communication and customer enquiries, paper filing systems and stationery supplies.

Entry requirements

You will ideally have four GCSEs at grades A*-G (or 9-1) or equivalent.

What you will need to bring

The College of Animal Welfare will confirm anything you need before you start. As training takes place in your workplace, you'll primarily use the tools and systems already available in your role.
