About this course

Free Level 3 Personal Training and Instruction Course in Burton-on-Trent. Classes run at Burton Town Centre Campus, part-time in the evenings, so you can fit your personal training and instruction qualification around work or other commitments. The course takes one year to complete. You'll build on an existing Level 2 Gym Instructor qualification, developing the knowledge and skills to work with clients in a gym or health club as an employed or self-employed personal trainer. The qualification is certified by CIMSPA and REPs.

Who this course is for

The aim of this qualification is to develop the knowledge and skills of learners so they can engage, facilitate, educate and support clients in a gym or health club environment.

This qualification is suitable for learners holding a Level 2 qualification in gym instruction or equivalent who wish to progress in a career as a professional personal trainer on an employed or self-employed basis.This qualification is certified by REPs and CIMSPA.

Entry requirements

Applicants will be expected to have a recognised level 2 subject specific vocational qualification. If not already achieved, be working towards completing a level 2 literacy qualification.(or) Several years' occupational experience within relevant disciplines will also be considered Applicants must also hold a CIMSPA recognised Level 2 Gym Instructor qualification.
