Free Level 2 Gym Instructor Course in Burton-on-Trent. Classes run at Burton Town Centre Campus on Thursday evenings, 5:30pm to 8:30pm. The course runs over one year, so you can fit your gym instructor classes around work or other commitments. You'll develop the knowledge and skills to support and educate clients in a gym or health club setting. The course combines weekly face-to-face lessons with distance learning. The college is a recognised CIMSPA partner, and this gym instructor qualification is certified by REPs and CIMSPA. No formal entry requirements, though some personal experience of gym-based exercise is helpful.

Who this course is for

This course aims to develop your knowledge and skills to allow you to engage, facilitate, educate and support clients in a gym or health club environment. This qualification is certified by REPs and CIMSPA. Ideally, you should have some experience of gym based exercise through personal practice and possess a certain amount of physical fitness. The course is delivered through a blended approach of taught lessons and distance learning, allowing you to have face to face contact with the course tutor on a weekly basis. We have links with a number of partners in the area where work experience can be gained. The College is a recognised partner of CIMSPA, which will allow you to gain a student membership once you have enrolled on the course.
