How you will learn
Assessment is work-based. You'll be observed carrying out practical tasks in your kitchen, and your assessor will visit your workplace to gather evidence. You'll also complete a portfolio of evidence showing your competence across the units. Some written or oral questioning may be used to confirm your knowledge. Because this is an NVQ, your day-to-day work is the primary source of evidence.
