Free Functional Skills English Level 1 in Pickering. Evening classes run at Atmosphere Centre for Young People, so you can fit study around your week. How you will learn
You'll learn in a classroom at Atmosphere Centre for Young People, with a mix of reading, writing, and speaking activities. Assessment is through a written exam and a separate speaking and listening assessment. Both are set and marked externally by City and Guilds. You'll have an initial assessment before the course begins to confirm that Level 1 is the right starting point for you, and the centre will use it to plan your learning.
