How you will learn
You'll learn through classroom-based sessions at Malton Adult Learning and Skills Service. Teaching covers reading, writing, speaking, and listening through practical tasks and discussion. Assessment for the City and Guilds Functional Skills Qualification in English at Level 1 includes a written exam and a speaking and listening assessment. Both are completed as part of the course.
