Free Entry Level 2 English Writing Skills Course in Birmingham. Classes run at Queen Alexandra College, full-time during the day. Entry requirements
High Needs Students with EHC Plan and referral through Local Authority OR apply directly to College to apply for initial assessment. This will form part of a wider study programme which will include therapies and specialist support for LLDD
What you will learn
You'll write simple sentences using correct punctuation and spelling.
You'll communicate in writing for everyday purposes, such as notes, messages, and forms.
You'll plan and organise your writing before you start.
You'll check and correct your own written work.
You'll use basic grammar to make your writing clear and easy to read.
How you will learn
You'll learn through classroom-based sessions at Queen Alexandra College, with specialist support and therapies as part of your wider study programme. Assessment is through written tasks and activities that reflect everyday writing situations. Your progress will be reviewed as part of your individual learning plan, which is shaped by your EHC Plan and the support your Local Authority has agreed.
