You'll build listening skills by following simple spoken instructions and information.
You'll develop speaking skills to communicate needs and respond in familiar situations.
You'll work with letters, sounds, and words to support early literacy.
How you will learn
You'll learn through classroom-based sessions at Queen Alexandra College, supported by specialist staff and therapists as part of your wider study programme. Assessment is through tasks set by City and Guilds that test your reading, writing, speaking, and listening at Entry Level 1. Your learning will be adapted to your individual needs and support plan.
