About this course
Free Entry Level 2 English Speaking and Listening Course in Birmingham. Classes run full-time during the day at Queen Alexandra College. This course is designed for students with disabilities and learning difficulties, and runs as part of a wider study programme that includes therapies and specialist support. You'll need an Education, Health and Care Plan and a referral through your Local Authority, or you can apply directly to the college for an initial assessment. The course runs over 12 months. You'll develop your spoken English and listening skills through a City and Guilds Entry Level 2 english speaking and listening qualification.

High Needs Students with EHC Plan and referral through Local Authority OR apply directly to College to apply for initial assessment. This will form part of a wider study programme which will include therapies and specialist support for LLDD

How you will learn
You'll learn through classroom-based sessions at Queen Alexandra College, supported by specialist staff and therapies as part of your wider study programme. Assessment is through observed speaking and listening activities. Your tutor will assess how you communicate in real conversations and group tasks. Support is tailored to your individual needs as set out in your Education, Health and Care Plan.
