NVQ Level 3 Engineering Maintenance Course. Work-based training at your workplace. You complete this level 3 nvq engineering maintenance qualification while working in an engineering maintenance role, building your skills on the job over two years. It covers a broad range of disciplines, including mechanical, electrical, electronic, fluid power, process control, and systems maintenance. You'll need to be in a workplace role that supports the qualification requirements. There are no entry qualifications required unless your work environment has a legal requirement.

Candidates wishing to demonstrate complex understanding of Engineering Maintenance to include mechanical, electrical, electronic, fluid power, process control, services or even lifts. The qualification is applicable to a variety of maintenance engineer occupations such as Mechanical Maintenance, Electricians, Pneumatic/Hydraulic maintenance, Systems engineers and more.

The candidate must be in a role within the workplace that will support the qualification requirements and must have the potential to achieve the assessment criteria set out in the units.
