About this course

Level 3 Assessor Course. Study online, at your own pace, from anywhere in the UK. You study online with tutor support, so you can fit your learning around work and other commitments. The course typically takes three to six months. You'll need to be working in an assessing or learning role, and have occupational competence in the area you assess. You'll cover how to plan and carry out assessments, use a range of assessment methods, and assess both competence in the workplace and vocational skills and knowledge. This is a City and Guilds level 3 assessor qualification.

Who this course is for

This qualification is part of the training, assessment and quality assurance (TAQA) suite of courses. It is ideal if you are a practitioner who uses a wide range of assessment methods based upon sound assessment principles.

Entry requirements

  • You'll make and record assessment decisions fairly and consistently.

How you will learn

You study online with tutor support throughout. Tutors provide regular progress reviews and are available to answer questions.
