
This qualification will enable you to develop the skills required to deliver efficient and reliable customer service. It is aimed at those who are new to or wish to develop skills and understanding in a broader range of customer service practice.
As this course is taught online via zoom - you will need access to a PC, laptop or tablet with a webcam and have a good internet connection.
All new learners will need to attend an assessment session online at 6pm on the following date:
Monday 27th July 2026.

Accredited courses are free to those in receipt of certain benefits (dependent also on household income).
Please note that due to our funding criteria we can only enrol eligible learners over the age of 19 at the start of the academic year who are permanent residents of a London Borough.

What you could study next
After completing this level 1 customer service qualification, you could move on to a Level 2 Certificate or Diploma in Customer Service to deepen your knowledge and improve your job prospects. A Level 2 qualification is the standard expected by many employers for customer service advisor roles. You might also consider a Level 2 Business Administration qualification if you want to broaden your skills across office and customer-facing work.
