About this course

Free Functional Skills Maths Level 2 in Pickering. Classes run at Atmosphere Centre for Young People. Daytime sessions run part-time over 18 weeks, so you can fit study around other commitments. This course is for anyone aged 19 or over. No previous experience is required. Basic IT skills are essential. We will ask you to enrol on a BKSB assessment session. This will allow us to allocate the most suitable course for your individual level. We will

How you will learn

You'll learn through classroom-based sessions at Atmosphere Centre for Young People. Assessment is by a written exam set and marked by City and Guilds. There is no coursework portfolio. You'll need to pass the exam to earn the qualification. Your tutor will use the initial assessment to plan your learning and track your progress through the 18 weeks.
