Free Functional Skills English Level 1 Course in Mansfield. Classes run at Mansfield Central Library on Monday mornings, part-time over 22 weeks.

You'll work on reading, writing, and speaking and listening. These are the three areas covered in the Level 1 functional skills english qualification. The course is for adults aged 19 or over. You'll start with an initial assessment so the tutor can confirm the right level for you.

You'll finish with a City and Guilds Functional Skills Qualification in English.

  • You'll practise understanding and responding to spoken information.

How you will learn

Classes meet on Monday mornings at Mansfield Central Library. Your tutor will guide you through reading, writing, and speaking and listening activities each week. Near the end of the course, you'll be assessed in all three areas. Pass all three and you'll earn the qualification. All learning materials are provided.

All resources are provided by your tutor. You may find it useful to bring your own notebook. Mansfield Central Library will confirm anything else you need before you start.
