Free BTEC Level 3 Art and Design Course in Hillingdon. Classes run full-time at Rosedale College, five days a week during the day. The course takes one year to complete. You'll develop practical and critical skills across art and design disciplines, building a body of work that reflects your creative thinking. To join, you'll need at least five GCSEs at grades 9 to 4, including grade 4 in both English and Maths. If you haven't studied a BTEC Art and Design qualification before, you'll also need to submit a portfolio for assessment.

Entry requirements
A minimum of 5 GCSEs grades 9-4, including a Grade 4 in GCSE English and a Grade 4 in GCSE Mathematics. Students who have not studied BTEC Art and Design before will be required to submit a portfolio which will be assessed upon entry.

How you will learn
Learning is classroom based, with practical studio sessions and project work at the centre. Assessment is portfolio based. You'll gather evidence of your creative process and finished outcomes throughout the year. There are no written exams. Your portfolio is assessed against Pearson Edexcel's criteria for the BTEC National Certificate in Art and Design.
