About this course

Free BTEC Level 3 Art and Design Course in Hillingdon. Classes run full-time at Rosedale College, five days a week during the day, over two years. You'll need at least five GCSEs at grades 9 to 4, including grade 4 in both English and Maths. If you haven't studied BTEC Art and Design before, you'll also need to submit a portfolio for assessment on entry. The course covers practical and theoretical aspects of art and design, building the skills and knowledge needed for creative careers or further study.

Entry requirements

A minimum of 5 GCSEs grades 9-4, including a Grade 4 in GCSE English and a Grade 4 in GCSE Mathematics. Students who have not studied BTEC Art and Design before will be required to submit a portfolio which will be assessed upon entry.

You'll build a portfolio of work and complete set assignments that are marked against Pearson Edexcel criteria. There are no written exams for the Extended Certificate. Your tutor will give feedback throughout to help you develop your work.
