Free BTEC Level 3 Art and Design Course in Hillingdon. Classes run full-time at Parkside Studio College, five days a week during the day. You'll need at least five GCSEs at grades 9 to 4, including grade 4 in both English and Maths. If you haven't studied BTEC Art and Design before, you'll submit a portfolio as part of the entry process. The course takes one year and covers practical and theoretical aspects of art and design.

Entry requirements
A minimum of 5 GCSEs grades 9-4, including a Grade 4 in GCSE English and a Grade 4 in GCSE Mathematics. Students who have not studied BTEC Art and Design before will be required to submit a portfolio which will be assessed upon entry.

You'll learn through studio-based practical work, taught sessions, and independent project development. Assessment is coursework-based. You'll produce a portfolio of work and complete set assignments that demonstrate your skills and creative thinking. There are no written exams for the coursework units. Some units may include externally set tasks assessed by Pearson Edexcel.
