Free BTEC Level 3 Art and Design Course in Hillingdon. Classes run at Hewens College, full-time during the day over two years. To join, you'll need at least five GCSEs at grades 9 to 4, including grade 4 in both English and Maths. If you haven't studied BTEC Art and Design before, you'll also submit a portfolio for assessment on entry. The Pearson Edexcel level 3 BTEC art and design classes cover practical studio work alongside critical and contextual study. You'll develop your creative practice across a range of disciplines.

Entry requirements
A minimum of 5 GCSEs grades 9-4, including a Grade 4 in GCSE English and a Grade 4 in GCSE Mathematics. Students who have not studied BTEC Art and Design before will be required to submit a portfolio which will be assessed upon entry.
What you will learn

How you will learn
You'll learn through studio-based practical work in the classroom, supported by taught sessions covering art history and critical theory. Assessment is mainly through a portfolio of coursework built up over the two years, along with written assignments and a set externally assessed unit. There are no traditional written exams for most units. Your portfolio is central to your final grade.
