About this course

NVQ Level 3 Electrical and Electronic Engineering. Work-based training at your workplace, completed over two years while you stay in your engineering role.

The course covers complex electrical and electronic engineering skills. You choose a pathway to match your work, such as industrial wiring, electronic assembly, or systems testing. Units assess your practical competence on the job, so your learning is grounded in what you do every day. There are no entry qualifications required, but you must be in a role that supports the qualification's assessment criteria.

You'll finish with an NVQ Diploma in Electrical and Electronic Engineering at Level 3.
