About this course

Level 3 Heritage Skills (Construction) Course. Work-based training at your workplace. You need to be employed in the construction industry to enrol. Your assessors come to your site to observe your work and build a portfolio of evidence with you. The course covers heritage specialisms including wood occupations, masonry, finisher, and brickwork. It typically takes one year to complete. This is a level 3 heritage skills (construction) qualification assessed entirely through on-site evidence.

What you will learn

How you will learn

All learning and assessment is work-based. You build a portfolio of evidence gathered on site, documenting your practice across the units of your chosen specialism. College assessors visit your workplace to observe you working and to verify your portfolio evidence. There are no classroom sessions. Assessment is entirely practical and evidence-based.
