Flannery delivers Skills Bootcamp training in Plant Operations for Buckinghamshire residents from our Iver Skills Hub. The programme is designed to support individuals looking to begin or progress a career within the construction and infrastructure sector.

Training combines classroom learning, simulator training and practical machine operation, helping learners develop the technical skills, safety awareness and site-readiness required for employment within construction environments.

Entry requirements

Eligibility criteria:

  • Must be aged 19 or over
  • Must be a resident of Buckinghamshire
  • Must have the right to work in the UK
  • Must be interested in progressing into employment or career progression within construction and infrastructure
  • No previous plant experience is required for 'New Entrants' Programmes.
  • Prior experience/tickets required for 'Upskilling' courses
  • Some items of Plant will require a Drivers Licence

How you will learn

Training combines classroom sessions, simulator practice, and hands-on machine operation. Classroom learning covers safety, site procedures, and plant theory. Simulator sessions let you practise machine control in a safe environment before moving to practical operation. Assessment is through observed practical performance and completion of the programme requirements.
