About this course

Free Level 2 Principles of Care Planning Course. Study online. You can start at any time and work through the material at your own pace, making it easy to fit around existing commitments. Over 16 weeks, you'll cover person-centred thinking and planning, the care planning process, nutrition and hydration in care settings, and supporting personal hygiene. There are no formal entry requirements, though you must be 19 or over. You'll complete an initial assessment before enrolling so the course can be matched to your needs.

Who this course is for

This qualification aims to improve your understanding of your role in supporting the preferences and needs of individuals in relation to their care and support.

It will also enhance your knowledge of nutrition and health in health and social care settings, as well as how to support an individual to maintain their personal hygiene.

Entry requirements

There are no formal entry requirements but you must be aged 19+.

Please note: All students will need to complete an Initial Assessment before being enrolled onto the course.
