Free Level 2 Mental Health Awareness Course in Pickering. Classes run at Atmosphere Centre for Young People, part-time during the day. Entry requirements

To be eligible for funding for courses you must be over 19 years of age as at 31st August in the current academic year and not be an apprentice, further eligibility may be linked to where you live and we will check that at enrolement You must have basic IT skills

How you will learn

Learning takes place in the classroom at Atmosphere Centre for Young People. You'll be assessed through written assignments and knowledge-based tasks that you complete during the course. There are no exams. Assessment is designed to check your understanding of mental health topics and your ability to apply that knowledge in real situations.

The centre will provide most materials. Atmosphere Centre for Young People will confirm anything else you need before you start. You will need basic IT skills, as some tasks may involve using a computer.
