Free Level 2 Mental Health Awareness Course in Pickering. Evening mental health awareness classes run at Atmosphere Centre for Young People, so you can fit study around work or other commitments. The course runs over 15 weeks, part-time. You'll build a solid understanding of mental health conditions, how they affect people, and how to respond with care and confidence. This free mental health awareness course for adults covers topics that are directly relevant to roles in care, education, and community support. You'll need basic IT skills to enrol.

Entry requirements
To be eligible for funding for courses you must be over 19 years of age as at 31st August in the current academic year and not be an apprentice, further eligibility may be linked to where you live and we will check that at enrolement You must have basic IT skills

How you will learn
Classes are delivered in a classroom setting at Atmosphere Centre for Young People on weekday evenings. Assessment is through written assignments and knowledge-based tasks completed during the course. There are no formal exams. Your tutor will guide you through the material and support you with your assignments across the 15 weeks.
