Free Level 2 Mental Health Awareness Course in Scarborough. Evening classes run at Scarborough Adult Learning and Skills Service, part-time over 15 weeks. That makes it straightforward to fit around work or other commitments. You'll build a solid grounding in mental health awareness, covering how to recognise, understand, and respond to mental health conditions. The course is open to adults aged 19 or over as at 31 August in the current academic year, and you'll need basic IT skills to take part. To be eligible for funding for courses you must be over 19 years of age as at 31st August in the current academic year and not be an apprentice, further eligibility may be linked to where you live and we will check that at enrolement You must have basic IT skills

How you will learn
Classes are classroom based, meeting in the evening each week. You'll learn through tutor-led sessions, group discussion, and guided activities. Assessment is through written assignments and knowledge checks that you complete during the course. There are no exams. Your tutor will give feedback on your work throughout to help you progress.

The centre will provide most materials. Scarborough Adult Learning and Skills Service will confirm anything else you need before you start.
