Free Level 2 Information, Advice or Guidance Course. Study online. You work through the course at your own pace, so it fits around your other commitments. The course covers the principles behind effective information sharing and how to give accurate, helpful guidance to the people you work with. It typically takes 35 weeks to complete. To enrol, you must be aged 19 or over as of 31 August 2025, resident in England, and have lived in the EU for the last three years. You cannot be studying on another course at the same time.

How you will learn
This is an online distance learning course. You study independently, working through materials in your own time. Assessment is through written assignments and tasks that you submit to your tutor. There are no exams. Your tutor will give feedback on your work and support you throughout the course.
