Course units:

Unit 1: Understand information, advice and guidance in practice Unit 2: Understand the interaction skills for information, advice and guidance Unit 3: Understanding signposting and referral in information, advice and guidance Unit 4: Understand the context of information, advice and guidance Unit 5: Understand skills required by advice providers

You will ideally need to have access to Microsoft Office programs such as Word, Publisher and PowerPoint as you may need to download and edit documents for your online course.

Preferably, you should be employed or volunteering in a role where you are providing information, advice and guidance to customers as this course will ask you to reflect on practices within your own organisation.
