The course is funded by the provider, so it is free regardless of your age. You'll study over 12 weeks, building the knowledge and skills needed to give information, advice or guidance across a wide range of settings. The course is open to anyone aged 16 years old or over. It applies to many sectors, so what you learn transfers to your own work context.
Who this course is for
This course is suitable for anyone working in, or looking to work in, a role which involves giving information, advice or guidance. The knowledge gained by carrying out this qualification is transferable across a wide range of sectors, allowing you to apply it to your own employment context. The minimum age requirement is 16 years old.
What you will learn

How you will learn
You'll study online through written learning materials and activities. Assessment is through written assignments or knowledge-based tasks that you complete and submit online. There are no exams. You work through the course at your own pace over 12 weeks, with tutor support available throughout.

The centre will provide most materials. The Childcare Company will confirm anything else you need before you start.
