Free Level 2 Information, Advice or Guidance Course in Catterick Garrison. Evening classes run at Catterick Library & Information Centre, part-time to fit around your existing commitments. This free information, advice or guidance course for adults is designed to build on knowledge you already use in a supporting role. Each session runs for 4 hours. You'll study how to give effective information, advice, and guidance to others in a range of settings.

This qualification is aimed at learners who are looking to expand their knowledge in this area as an addional qualification to support their role.
Entry requirements
To be eligible for funding for courses you must be over 19 years of age as at 31st August in the current academic year and not be an apprentice,further eligibility may be linked to where you live and your individual income.

How you will learn
Classes are delivered face-to-face at Catterick Library & Information Centre on weekday evenings. You'll learn through tutor-led sessions, group discussion, and practical activities. Assessment is through written assignments and portfolio evidence that you build up during the course. There are no formal exams.

The centre will provide most materials. Catterick Library & Information Centre will confirm anything else you need before you start.
