Free Level 2 Formwork Course. Work-based training at your workplace. You must already be working in the construction industry as a formworker and be 19 or over to apply. The course takes around 9 months and is assessed entirely through your day-to-day work on site. You build a portfolio of evidence showing you can carry out formwork activities to industry standards. This free formwork qualification is awarded by NOCN and can open doors to supervisory and management roles in construction.

Entry requirements
Candidates must be over the age of 19, and already hold a position as a Formworker in the construction industry.

How you will learn
All assessment is carried out in your workplace. You cannot simulate evidence. An assessor will observe you carrying out your normal formwork duties and confirm you meet the required standard. Evidence is gathered through observations, witness testimonies, professional discussions, site evidence, photographic evidence, and knowledge questions. Everything is managed through an e-portfolio system called Learning Assistant.
