What you will learn
You'll set up and navigate a computerised accounting system using Sage
You'll process sales invoices, credit notes, and customer receipts
You'll process purchase invoices, credit notes, and supplier payments
You'll reconcile bank accounts within the software
You'll produce financial reports such as trial balances and aged debtor reports
You'll manage petty cash records within a computerised system
How you will learn
You'll learn through classroom-based sessions at the centre, working directly with Sage accounting software. Assessment is practical and computer-based, testing your ability to carry out real accounting tasks within the software. There are no written exams. Your work is assessed against set tasks that reflect what you would do in an accounts role.
