Entry requirements
To be eligible for funding for courses you must be over 19 years of age as at 31st August in the current academic year and not be an apprentice,further eligibility may be linked to where you live and your individual income.
What you will learn
You'll set up and navigate a Sage accounts system.

You'll record supplier transactions and payments.
You'll reconcile bank statements within accounting software.
You'll produce basic financial reports from a computerised system.
You'll understand how to manage VAT records in Sage.
How you will learn
You'll study through a mix of classroom sessions and guided practice using Sage accounting software. Assessment is based on practical tasks completed within the software, demonstrating your ability to process real accounting transactions. Your tutor will guide you through each stage during daytime classes at the centre.
