This free aat certificate accounting course for adults covers the daily bookkeeping tasks that underpin most finance roles. You'll work through manual double entry bookkeeping, the documents and processes that support it, and how to bring accounts up to Trial Balance. Sessions run for around 4 hours, making it manageable alongside other commitments. You'll finish with the AAT Level 2 Certificate in Accounting.
Who this course is for
The aim of this qualification is to introduce you to daily bookkeeping tasks.

Entry requirements
To be eligible for funding for courses you must be over 19 years of age as at 31st August in the current academic year and not be an apprentice,further eligibility may be linked to where you live and your individual income.

Assessment is through AAT's standard written exams, which test your knowledge of bookkeeping processes, documents, and Trial Balance preparation. Your tutor will guide you through each topic before you sit the assessments.
