About this course

Free Level 1 Customer Service Course. Work-based training at your workplace. You train while you're in a customer-facing job role, building the knowledge employers look for from day one. The course takes around one week to complete. You'll cover the foundations of customer service, including how to communicate with customers and meet their needs. This free customer service course for adults is funded through the Adult Education Budget, where eligible. You must be aged 19 or over and eligible for ESFA programmes.

Who this course is for

This course is specifically designed to help build the skills of individuals interested in working and entering into a Customer Service role.

The course will give you the foundation and key skills you need to demonstrate to employers that you understand the sector and are ready to start your career. It provides you with the knowledge and understanding in customer service if you are likely to be working with customers on a daily basis as part of a job role.

Entry requirements

You must be aged 19 and over and be eligible for ESFA programmes. Our skilled and trained staff will be able to help and guide you through the process so that you understand your options and what course works best for your own needs and goals.
