About this course

Free Functional Skills Maths Level 2 in Grays. Classes run at TCHC Thurrock GAPS Centre. You must be enrolled on a vocational qualification at one of the GAPS centres to be eligible. The course covers three areas: using numbers and the number system, measures, shape and space, and handling data. At 55 hours, it's a focused level 2 functional skills maths qualification that sits alongside your main vocational study. Assessment includes a calculator and a non-calculator exam. When employers ask for GCSE maths or equivalent, a level 2 functional skills maths certificate meets that requirement.
