About this course

Free Entry Level 3 Functional Skills Maths. Study online. You can work through the course at your own pace, fitting study around your other commitments. The course runs over 16 weeks, with two online study sessions per week plus independent study. You'll cover numbers, fractions, decimals, measures, shapes, and data handling, applying maths to everyday situations like budgeting and planning. This entry level functional skills maths course is a free functional skills maths course for adults who want a solid grounding before progressing to Level 1 or Level 2. Note: the final exam is face-to-face at Elatt's centre.

Who this course is for

We teach functional maths skills for vocational learners at all Entry Levels, and Level 1 and 2. Courses are tied to the functional skills syllabus and address the key numerical skills needed for daily life including: Numbers and number systems, Shape, space and measure and Handling data.

Courses are delivered online, however at the end of the programme, learners are required to attend a face-to-face exam at ELATT.

  • You'll solve practical problems such as budgeting, shopping, and journey planning.
