Free Entry Level 3 Functional Skills English in Harrogate. Evening classes run at Harrogate Civic Centre, so you can fit study around work or other commitments. You'll write clearly for practical purposes, such as messages, notes, and simple letters.
You'll spell and punctuate common words correctly in your writing.
You'll listen and respond in straightforward conversations and discussions.
You'll speak clearly to give and receive information in familiar situations.
How you will learn
You'll learn in a classroom at Harrogate Civic Centre. Teaching covers reading, writing, and speaking and listening through practical tasks and activities. Assessment is by a written exam and a speaking and listening task, both set and marked by City and Guilds.
