About this course

Free Entry Level 1 English Course in Harrogate. Classes run at Harrogate Civic Centre during the day, part-time, so you can fit study around other commitments. You'll work on reading, writing, speaking, and listening at Entry Level 1. The course runs for 55 hours in total. Assessment is portfolio-based, so there is no exam to sit. Entry requirements

To be eligible for funding for courses you must be over 19 years of age as at 31st August in the current academic year and not be an apprentice, further eligibility may be linked to where you live and we will check that at enrolment

You'll learn in a classroom at Harrogate Civic Centre. Learning is practical and activity-based, covering reading, writing, speaking, and listening. You are assessed through a portfolio of work you build up during the course. There is no exam. Your tutor will support you throughout and help you gather evidence for your portfolio.
