Entry requirements

To be eligible for funding for courses you must be over 19 years of age as at 31st August in the current academic year and not be an apprentice, further eligibility may be linked to where you live and we will check that at enrolment

Learning takes place in the classroom at Northallerton Adult Education during evening sessions. The City and Guilds Certificate in English Skills (Entry 2) is assessed through portfolio-based evidence rather than a timed exam. You'll build up a collection of work during the course that demonstrates your skills across reading, writing, and communication.
