Free Entry Level 2 English Course in Northallerton. Classes run at Richmond Adult Learning and Skills Service, part-time during the day. The course is designed for adults who want to build their English skills and gain a recognised english qualification without sitting a formal exam. You must not already hold an Entry Level 2 or higher English qualification. At 55 hours, it fits around other commitments and runs at a manageable pace. You'll finish with a City and Guilds Certificate in English Skills (Entry 2).

This course is for people who want to improve their English skills gain a qualification in English without having to take an exam.You must not have a current Entry 2 level or higher qualification.
Entry requirements
To be eligible for funding for courses you must be over 19 years of age as at 31st August in the current academic year and not be an apprentice, further eligibility may be linked to where you live and we will check that at enrolment

How you will learn
You'll learn through classroom-based sessions at Richmond Adult Learning and Skills Service. Learning is practical and interactive, covering reading, writing, speaking, and listening. Assessment is portfolio-based rather than exam-based, so you'll be assessed on work you produce during the course. This means no end-of-course exam to sit.
