About this course

Entry Level 3 Employability Skills Course in Telford. Classes run at Learn Telford, part-time during the day over 12 weeks. The course is free for most learners aged 19 or over. If you are employed and earn over £25,750 a year, a course fee may apply.

You'll build practical digital skills for finding and applying for work. Topics include using a computer, writing and improving your CV, and searching for jobs online. No prior qualifications are needed. You should be comfortable using basic features of a PC or laptop, and able to communicate in English well enough to complete an end-of-course exam.

You'll finish with a City and Guilds Award in Employability Skills at Entry Level 3.

Entry requirements

You don't need to have any prior qualifications but you will need to be able to communicate in English at a sufficient level to complete an exam at the end of the course. This course is suitable for learners who are already familiar with using some basic features of a pc or laptop.
