Level 3 Nail Technician Course in Barnsley. Classes run at The White Rose School of Beauty Barnsley, daytime with flexible study. Funding options are available and will be discussed at interview, so fees may or may not apply depending on your circumstances. You'll need a Level 2 qualification in beauty therapy or nail services, or you'll complete a skills test and interview to get onto the course. Over 240 hours, you'll cover all the skills and knowledge needed to work as a nail technician. This is a VTCT level 3 nail technician qualification.
Who this course is for
This qualification is designed for learners aged 16 years and over and will support you to gain employment as a nail technician, as the units contained in the qualification cover all the skills and knowledge required for this role.
Entry requirements
Entry onto this qualification can be via previous attainment of a Level 2 qualification in beauty therapy or nail services and/or a successful skills test and interview. You must be 16 or over to do this course via apprentice routes or 19 or over to complete this course via access to Advanced Learner Loans.
What you will learn

You'll apply gel, acrylic, and other nail systems safely and professionally.

How you will learn
You'll learn through practical, hands-on sessions in a classroom setting at The White Rose School of Beauty Barnsley. Assessment is through observed practical work, written assignments, and a portfolio of evidence demonstrating your skills and knowledge across the units. You'll be assessed on real treatments carried out on clients or models.
