Level 3 Assessor Course. Study online at your own pace, fitting your learning around work and other commitments. You'll need to be occupationally competent in the area you want to assess before you start. The course covers assessing vocational competence in the workplace and assessing work-related skills in training environments such as workshops, classrooms, and training centres. It typically takes around 6 months to complete. This is a City and Guilds Level 3 assessor qualification recognised across a wide range of industries.
Who this course is for
This is a practical-based qualification intended for learners 19 years and over who would like to be able to assess both occupational competence in the workplace, and work related skills in a training environment such as in a workshop, training centre or classroom. The course will give you the knowledge and skills required to assess work related learning to the required industry standards.

How you will learn
You study online and work through the course at your own pace. Assessment is practical and evidence-based. You'll build a portfolio of evidence from your real assessment practice in the workplace or training environment. This is submitted for marking. There are no written exams. You'll need access to learners you can assess as part of completing the qualification.
