There are no formal entry requirements, however you must be able to carry out your assessments independently. You will need time to practice your skills and revise your theory. How you will learn
Classes are classroom and kitchen based, running in the evenings at Darlington College. You'll learn through practical sessions where you prepare and produce patisserie and confectionery items. Assessment is both practical and theory based. You must be able to complete assessments independently, so you'll also need time outside class to practise skills and revise theory. An initial interview may be arranged to confirm the course is the right level for you.
