About this course

Level 2 Hairdressing Course in Bristol. Classes run at Ashley Down Centre one day a week, part-time during the day. The course takes one year to complete. You'll study cutting, colouring, styling, shampooing and conditioning, and client communication. Training takes place in realistic working salon conditions, so you build practical skills alongside the theory. Entry requirements include English at Level 1 or above and GCSE Maths and English at grade D or above. This is a City and Guilds level 2 hairdressing qualification. City and Guilds Certificate in Women's Hairdressing with certificate.

Entry requirements

To be operating at English level 1 or above----Total commitment with 100% attendance and punctuality--English and Maths GCSE grade D or above--The ability to communicate with people from every age group, social and ethnic background--Good organisation, enthusiasm, motivation and an ability to work with the general public--

High attendance is required throughout the course.
