Who this course is for
The C&G Level 2 Certificate in Make-up will enable learners to gain the skills, knowledge and understanding required in order to apply make-up. Learners will gain the skills needed to perform make-up treatments for friends, family and self application. The course also provides the foundation to progress to a career in the industry. The C&G Level 2 Certificate in Beauty will enable learners to gain the skills, knowledge and understanding required to offer elementary beauty services.

You'll also be assessed on your theoretical knowledge, covering topics such as anatomy and physiology and health and safety. City and Guilds sets the professional dress code and kit requirements, which the centre will confirm before you start.
What you will need to bring
A kit is required for every session and for practising at home. City and Guilds also requires a full uniform (tunic), closed-toed shoes, no nail extensions or gel nails, no eyelash extensions, and minimal jewellery (one pair of stud earrings and one wedding band).
