Level 2 ESOL Skills for Life: Speaking and Listening Course in Kensington and Chelsea. Classes run at Morley College London North Kensington Campus, part-time during the day. Who this course is for
This course is for you if you want to continue studying after completing ESOL Level 1. In this course, you will develop speaking and listening, reading and writing skills. Each term includes all four skills but focuses on a specific skill for the exam taken in that term. When you pass each skill you will receive a certificate for that particular skill. To achieve the full ESOL Level 2 qualification, you must pass Speaking and Listening Level 2, Reading Level 2 and Writing Level 2.
Entry requirements
You will take an initial assessment which will determine your current level of English. You may join this course if your assessed level is just below the standards at Level 2.
What you will learn
You'll develop your spoken English for everyday and formal situations.
You'll practise listening to and understanding spoken English from different speakers.
You'll build the skills needed to pass the Level 2 Speaking and Listening exam.
You'll work toward the reading and writing components needed for the full Level 2 ESOL qualification.

How you will learn
Classes are classroom-based and run during the day. Each term focuses on a specific skill area, with speaking and listening as the assessed focus for this course. You'll be assessed through a formal exam in speaking and listening. When you pass, you receive a certificate for that skill. To gain the full Level 2 ESOL qualification, you'll also need to pass the Reading and Writing assessments in separate terms.
