Who this course is for
This course is for you if you would like to communicate more fluently, learn to give a short presentation and have a better understanding of English grammar and expressions. It will help you to improve your ability to read about a wider range of subjects and write formally or informally with accuracy. In this course, you will develop speaking and listening, reading and writing skills. Each term includes all four skills but focuses on a specific skill for the exam taken in that term. When you pass each skill you will receive a certificate for that particular skill. To achieve the full ESOL Level 1 qualification, you must pass Speaking and Listening Level 1, Reading Level 1 and Writing Level 1.
Entry requirements
You will take an initial assessment which will determine your current level of English. You may join this course if your assessed level is just below the standards at Level 1.
